I am a writer who is working on my debut novel.

My multi-level work is a Contemporary Women’s Fiction Novel about two women, ​Marcella Garrett, an Opera Singer with the Metropolitan Opera Company and Ella Jeffries, ​a music teacher and stay-at-home mom and the challenges they face as they navigate ​their lives through the lens of love, loss and redemption.

I am a Vocal Coach and Piano Teacher. When I am not teaching, I’m writing or reading or ​working on my craft. I attended the Carolina Writing Workshops in Raleigh, NC. I will be ​attending the 2024 Ohio Writing Workshop and honing my craft with other workshops ​and literary conferences throughout the year ahead. I attend weekly writing sessions with ​Shut Up and Write, host a monthly Book Club, and maintain a Bookstagram account ​dedicated to literary interests. The characters in my novel shadow my own experiences as ​a classically trained opera singer, music teacher and stay-at-home mom. Parts of me are ​reflected in the characters of Marcella Garrett and Ella Jeffries.
